Closed toed shoes. Clothes that cover your skin. A long sleeved shirt that closes at the collar. Long pants or dress. This is because small, hot brass shells are spit out of the side of the firearm. They bounce and land on your face, neck, and can disappear down your shirt. The shells aren't dangerous in themselves but they are alarming the first few times.
I'll supply hearing and eye protection. You shouldn't need gloves or a hat if we're indoors.
Let me know if you want to bring a firearm. I like classes to be safe and predicable. I would prefer to see it in a case or box. It should be new or perhaps recently serviced if it's older or a family heirloom.
Bring a state-issued ID.
